“Warren Thompson & Son did an excellent job repairing a section of my siding and roof in 2022 to prevent water from leaking into my home. After debris collected under the gutter covers on my roof this year and the company that installed them did not respond even after repeated calls and emails, I called Warren Thompson & Son to see if they could help. Brian came to my home, listened as I explained the problem and then climbed on the roof to examine the gutters and covers. He found that the covers had been nailed between two layers of shingles when the roof had been replaced by another company years before. Removing them would require replacing the shingles they were attached to. He offered to provide an estimate for doing the job, but also suggested that I first contact a gutter cleaning company, to see if they could remove the debris without removing the covers. I had already contacted one company that declined the job because of the covers. However, Ned Stevens, as recommended by Brian, was able to remove the debris and unclog the gutters while leaving the covers intact. I will be calling Warren Thompson & Son in the future for any roofing, siding or gutter work that I may need. They are thorough in assessing a homeowner's needs and offer practical solutions to meet those needs. Their proposals and estimates are thorough and fair, their work is of the highest quality and guaranteed to last. Warren Thompson & Son is a local company in NJ that I can count on and trust with the maintenance of my home.“

“Slate roof: I typically do not write reviews unless the service was above and beyond or poor. The entire transaction with Charlie Parsons Roofing was excellent. We have a 130 year old slate roof where there were small leaks finally where the gables meet. We had 3 contractors provide estimates. All professional quotes, but the other 2 suggested replacing the entire roof. Matt and Charlie's quote was fix the side that needed repair. This included remove/replace 2 badly worn tin valley runs, surrounding slates, snow guards and aluminum gutters that were incorrectly installed from a prior roofer (they drilled into the slate) and replaced with copper. They also swapped out 25 damaged slates. All at a reasonable price. The communication was also great in letting us know when they would be working on the roof, as the job required 2 plus days of dry weather. The clean-up also went well. If you need to have a slate roof repaired, I have no hesitation recommending getting a quote from Charlie Parsons Custom Sheet Metal.Add 5/22/21 - Had Charlie Parsons back again this time to repair the other side. The 130 year old valleys made of tin had seen better days and were now leaking into our newly finished attic. Charlie and Matt came through with excellent craftsmanship. “Recently had repair work performed on the south end of our house. Window sills were rotted with other damage from years of moisture. Clearly it’s been a problem for many years on this home, especially considering this side of the house takes on tons of water during storms but gets very little sunlight.

Paul and his team made the repairs and also took additional steps to ensure this is no longer a problem including building a drip edge, tucking the coil stock under the window and pitching it so water can’t pool. Also did a very good job sealing everything up with OSI Quad Max. I’m confident we will never have this issue again. This company did the original siding and roof install back in 2016 and all is holding up very well. We would not hesitate to call Paul for future roofing/siding/window jobs.“
