you need to book the owner. he chopped off 10 inches of my hair, styled layers, and gave me longer curtain bangs to fit my face shape. i only requested a shorter haircut and he took care of the rest. make sure you book him. the women in the front are very nice and welcoming so that they make sure we're comfortable. i love my haircut and blowout. i've been referred here by many boujee ladies and they do not disappoint, also i get so many compliments and ask where ive gotten it done!

Had a great time meeting and getting to know the owner Katsuko. I had a horrible experience at another hair salon and I spent all of last year growing out my hair to the point where I could cut it into whatever I wanted. I was recommended here by an associate of mine and it didn’t disappoint. Knew exactly what to do with my hair and spent most of the time chatting with me or asking me questions about my hair preferences to make sure I liked it. Very professional and very friendly person. I also loved that the price included the whole package instead of what other salons do and asking for “tip” later on. Seems way more honest to just have present total prices upfront so that way there’s no awkward moment. Awesome owner and I would love to comeback here again in the future.

Who is the mysterious Vincent? Does he have a family? How long has his shop been here? Is his name even Vincent? I wish I spoke better Korean. These are the things I imagine I would ask. But regrettably, after over a year of visiting his shop, I've all but spoken a few sentences of broken Korean to the eponymous "Vincent." I find myself writing Vincent's backstory as I sit in his barber chair and he begins deftly buzzing my sides. He is a spy who escaped North Korea and found refuge in Fort lee. Or maybe he assumed the identity of the original Vincent somehow when he escaped a dangerous gang in Seoul. Some days I feel certain that he left behind a daughter in Korea and hasn't seen her in decades. Or maybe the decision was hers. She chose to estrange herself from him. I can never quite agree on the ending in the 15 min it takes Vincent to finish. I'll mumble a clumsy thank you, pay him, and depart. TLDR; he's good. Come here.

I’ve been getting my nails done by her for many years now. Her shop is conveniently located in a building where there’s free parking in the lot. I always feel refreshed and happy after leaving her salon.

Antonia does the best Spa Pedicures while the K Sisters are the most detailed oriented nail salon...my Gel manicures last the longest from here versus any other. Well worth my travel to go back each time to treat myself! Thank you ladies.

If you're looking for a place for Asian men's haircuts, this is the spot. Being from Los Angeles, I tried different barbers around Manhattan and Fort Lee area after moving here and couldn't find anyone that could do it like the Los Angeles folks (at ssooniestyle, shout out to them and Ray) until I came here. Yusa was the one to cut my hair and I plan to go to him only for my hair needs moving forward. I actually came in with many things I wanted to fix in my hair. Not only did Yusa patiently listen to all of my requests, he even spent extra time to examine my hair type and head shape and explained his thought process as he cut my hair. By the end of the haircut, not only did I receive an excellent haircut for a very fair price, but Yusa also gave me a ton of advice regarding how I should maintain and style my hair. Cherry on top, he's also super friendly, interesting and a great conversationalist. In terms of service, scheduling an appointment by phone is simple and quick, but the stylists here are understandably busy and have packed schedules. I would suggest scheduling ahead of time and mentally preparing to be placed on a wait list. Otherwise, finding the salon was easy and the interior is clean and pleasant to be in. Overall, I would highly recommend this spot, especially if you're looking to get a trendy and modern Asian male hairstyle for a fair price compared to places in Manhattan.

I have been a customer at Hair Studio Taka for quite a few years now. My parents and other family members come here as well for their haircuts, and the reason for that is very clear. I have gotten my hair cut by many of their staff, but currently, I get my hair cut by Tom. From my experiences here, it is evident that the people who work here have exceptional skills. When asking what a customer would like, they tailor each haircut to fit the shape of the customer's face and the type of hair they have.
I have a round, long face and thick hair that gets heavy and frizzes easily. Tom ensures that any haircut I choose, whether it is short, long, layered, or textured, fits my face shape, hair type, and lifestyle. As a student, I don't have time to style my hair in the morning. Understanding this, Tom ensures that my hair can still look amazing without taking more than 15 minutes to style, despite it being very long and often stubborn.

I have been getting haircuts from Marina for about 20 years now. She gives me great haircuts and has a nice environment in her salon. I never had to wait in line to get a haircut when I come for my appointment on time. Marina is very flexible with time and can always fit me in when I need a haircut. I cannot recommend her enough, she is excellent!
This salon is run by husband (Hide) & wife (Hanna) and another colleague. All professionals, no waiting time because they don’t over book. Hair products they use are high-end and non irritating. They don’t push clients to buy hair products. No chattering noisily unless you engage them in conversation. Place is very clean and quiet, no loud music blaring in the background, maybe just a soft jazz music, very relaxing. I’ve been many times in the salon and Hide always did a great job with the hair coloring, cut and blow dry. I’m not going anywhere else except to Salon Oasis.
A Japanese person will be in charge. Since the hair type is different from that of Western people, I would like someone with experience working with Asian people to be in charge. I feel like the probability of that happening goes down significantly.
My first google review. My hand and arm were all tense and had tingling sensation from working long hours on the computer. First time, I had a acupuncture session and my hand improved a lot. Went back the next week, I had another acupuncture session and an hour massage. The massage therapist found the tension on my back and shoulders. They both did wonderful job and I feel so much better now. I am going back for the third session! Highly recommend!!

Their home has a nice environment, but she needs to make an appointment in advance. This time I went with my friends without making a reservation and had to wait for half an hour to get in line. Fortunately, it was a perfect massage experience.

They work as a team at shanti. The relief i felt after my first massage deserves every tip plus more if i can share. Ive gone to many other places and spent easy over 100$ for services nowhere near as good. I usually do 1hr -50$
Plus tip 20$ , theres a clear sign that says TIPS depending on pressure , soft pressure 10$ medium 15$ hard 20$ regardless of the tip for 70$ iam more than satisfied , i leave relieved and smiling excited to come back. I usually go every 2 weeks. I call ahead of time and plan my session , their punctual and very organized. I invite all my friends to visit and they all enjoy it. Im a regular here for 4years now and im glad a friend of mine shared this place with me. Some of their english may not be great but easy to communicate with stating pressure , if you feel its too soft just ask for medium or hard , if u want harder ask for male. For me the pressure isnt all that. They know the body well and can help release some tension. If you enjoy that massage make sure to ask for their name so u can stick with that person. A lady called "Lany" is the best in massage. She knows where it hurts the most and massages that spot exactly without even providing the info. It is very hard to find such a skillful massager. The spa is also very clean. The fees are affordable too.
