“Oh my goodness I am obsessed with Pearl Yoga & Fitness. I came across the studio on google search close to where I was staying for the week. I was intrigued to learn more about their wheel class. Navigating their website was super easy to sign up for a class. They had a week trial that fit perfect for my week stay.When I walked into the studio I was greeted with ‘’hello are you Regina ?!’’ and instantly felt that I found the perfect studio while chatting with Janet and Melanie.In the week I practiced 6 times and each class was different and I learned something new every single class. Every single time I walked into the studio I was greeted with a warm welcome. I enjoyed the way the class was set up with the instructor in the middle with everyone having a front row seat. I love the use of props and the direction how to use each prop during class. At the end of class I enjoy the meditation and learning about the sutras. I feel honored that I found this beautiful yoga studio and was welcomed to their yoga community. “I entered the studio of M Pilates & Yoga in early December 2020 having never had a Pilates class before. Nicole immediately made me feel confident about coming, probably hearing my apprehension during the first phone call. Since December, I have seen improvement in my chronic back pain that I have experienced for years, gained flexibility, and, as an added benefit, lost some weight while toning muscles. “Carmen is absolutely incredible. Her studio is such an experience, like you’re walking into a speakeasy. Walk through Ono Bowls to the infrared heated studio with high ceils with chandelier fans, full Buddha mural wall and mirrors to check your posture.Her voice is calming, the movement is activating and you will leave feeling renewed. Her workshops are fresh, she has wellness Wednesdays with private massage sessions by CitiZEN Mobile Massage. Her most recent event, Self-Cae Social included an outdoor wellness market on Quimby St with next level classes inside the studio.I am most excited for her Farm Yoga FEST this fall. “I love club pilates. I have only been to the Metuchen location so cant compare to anything else but the staff and instructors are amazing. They all are so kind and they make the effort to remember the students and accomodate your injuries and check up on you. Even though the classes have 12 students usually, I have always noticed the instructors are very attentive towards all 12 and making sure no one's form is off.All the instructors are great and I love how they all have their own unique style of teaching. I have few favs but only because I have been taking classes with them longest/consistently due to my schedule. Always leave here feeling great and the vibe/energy of the studio is very positive and calming.“
“I’ve been working out here since I moved to the area almost three years ago. The gym is well equipped. I usually go during off peak hours so I usually never wait to use the equipment. Lucy’s spin class at night is challenging and lots of fun. The yoga and Zumba classes are also a fun alternative to just lifting weights.“
