“For years, I had had dryness, scratchy eyes, tearing and blurry vision. My vision was so bad at nighttime that I couldn’t drive. All my other eye doctors only gave me artificial tears which didn’t help. When I came to see Dr. Hirschfeld, he immediately realized my problem and gave me punctum plugs. I had immediate relief which I’d never had before. It’s a miracle. Dr. Hirschfeld is now giving me extended pumpkin plugs, which again feel perfect. I am so happy I found Dr. Hirschfeld. I don’t mind traveling a distance to his office. It’s worth it.“

“Dr. Alan Schlussel is one of the most thorough, caring and compassionate doctors you will ever encounter. For the past year, Dr. Schlussel has treated my dry eye and allergy issues. He also alerted me about my very high eye pressures which sent me to an ophthalmologist for surgery to save my eyesight. If you need an eye exam or are suffering from discomfort due to dry eye or allergies, I cannot recommend Dr. Schlussel more. His team, Annette, Francesca, and Brenda are all wonderful, kind and accommodating. The office runs smoothly with little to no wait time yet Dr. Schlussel spends quality time with each patient and fully explains procedures and medications. Dr. Schlussel and his team are simply the best and I’m so grateful my research for an outstanding dry eye specialist led me to the right place!“
