It's hard these days to get a strong deep tissue flushing message and every time I come here it's consistent. Since my ankle problem about 2 years ago, I came for foot massages from Jenny & team, and it was an exceptional experience that I cannot recommend highly enough. To the woman who had a painful experience. Tui Na may not be for everyone just as Shiatsu, Deep Tissue, Rolfing, etc, is not for everyone. Tui Na may seem painful at first, but it's rejuvenating. If you tell them to go easy, they will, (but of course you wouldn't get all the benefits). Likely, a Swedish massage would be your cup of tea. As for the notice of tipping, it's not the best idea to tell customers that but in my case, I was told that because I clearly enjoy the massages and I just needed to realize that my tip amount was inappropriate for the work that was performed and so I increased it.
