We had issues with the Town related to town politics (ie nothing he did wrong), for example, and he tirelessly partnered with us to figure it out. “Out of the blue, a portion of our living room ceiling collapsed. Nobody was hurt. It was original to the 84 year old house, and the nails holding it to the joists just failed. Bob Hume came over soon after I called and we determined that several rooms, ultimately 5 (living room, dining room, 3 bedrooms) plus the ceiling above a stairway, needed to be replaced. He had a crew in the next day to demo the living room ceiling. This was a profoundly disruptive event, but Bob was very concerned that I was satisfied and kept in touch. The crew was really good at what they do. They cleaned up thoroughly. I would be happy to work with them again.“
