“I called Essex Locksmith after being locked out of my Camry with the keys in the trunk. They sent their Locksmith Colin to my rescue. I watched as he carefully opened the driver's side door to allow access to the door handle. He had to remove the handle in order to bypass the alarm system to gain access to the trunk of the care. When it was time to return the door handle I was amazed with how he used his fingers to navigate the small opening to realign the the mechanism to insure not only the handle was functional that the alarm would re-engage. His focus was unwavering even as the temperature in the parking garage was not helping my circulation. The staff at the office was extremely professional as well. “I wanted to share my good experience working with Phil (and his son) of Don Cleary's Lock & Glass Inc. I called yesterday and inquired about getting the locks changed on my 3 garage doors. He was able to come out within 24 hours (despite an awful rain storm which messed up his schedule) and even worked in the rain to get the locks replaced. He was honest and upfront about the cost (which was reasonable in my view!). Phil took the time to point out a few things I should be aware of (the tracks weren't positioned right on the garage doors when they were installed, the door arms were short so the lock wasn't locking on one side, etc). He gave me a recommendation on who I could call to fix it for me which I really appreciated. I also really enjoyed chatting with Phil. I learned his company does many different things beyond locks. I am sure I will be calling him again in the near future.“

“I’m surprised by the all the negative reviews here. My mother recently got her orthopedic shoe repaired here, they’re very old shoes and had been worn down (holes etc). She had been looking for a place that’ll repair them for a while now since it’s impossible to find shoes similar to the ones she has in stores or online. She had gone to a couple other shoe repair places and none of them wanted to touch them. She found this place from word of mouth and gave them a shot. She is very happy with the results. She’s stated that the repairman was very nice in attending her. He repaired them for 80 dollars which she believes is a fair price considering it’s impossible to find shoes similar. She’s very happy with the results and is considering getting her other pair fixed here as well! If the repair man ever reads this, thank you very much for assisting my mother.“
