They did not charge any extra and price was comparable to other places. I'm glad this first try came out good. They will be my local go to dry cleaners.“

“This is the best dry cleaners that I have done business with during my lifetime. I dropped off a half dozen items to be laundered. Of these items, there was a two- piece dress with jacket that was purchased by my late husband. The jacket was trimmed in what appeared to be black leather but turned out to be plastic. Over the years, the plastic became fragile. I happened to wear the dress while working as a background actor and noticed the peeling of plastic. When I dropped off my clothes, it was explained to me that they could not repair the jacket. They suggested that I take it to an establishment who specializes in handling such repairs. When I picked up my laundry, I left it on my valet. I did not want to deal with the jacket. Almost two months have passed since I touched my laundered clothes. Today, I decided to put the clothes into my closet, and I was SHOCKED! I cried! Choi's Valley Cleaners had removed ALL of the plastic from around the collar running down the front of the jacket, the pockets and the sleeves with black fabric. They never said anything to me when I picked up my laundry. Rather, they pulled all my clothing together and I paid. The person who helped me smiled and said have a nice day. Choi's Valley Cleaners went beyond customer service. I will be grateful to them the rest of my life. They understood how important the dress was to me and went out of their way to preserve it. “I have been an Essex Green Cleaners customer for at least a decade if not longer. They have been nothing short of terrific every time I have used their services. They are extremely reliable as well as efficient. In addition, their prices are very reasonable. On my last visit prior to this review I brought in a hockey jersey that had a large stain on the back. I was unsure how long the stain had been on the jersey so I was worried that it could be permanent. When I picked up the jersey upon completion I checked the back of the jersey....and found nothing. The stain was gone as if it never existed. I let out a big sigh of relief and told the employee "Great job as always". No one washes men's dress shirts overnight anymore, but they have the quickest turnaround of anyone in the area. They've done a great job with silk scarves (even stained scarves), wool sweaters (getting a stain out from cream cashmere was not easy, but they did it). I did have a shirt mix-up once (got the wrong shirt), but they fixed it the next day when I brought it back. People at the counter are friendly and they actually care about the work they do.
