“Overall, I think this is a great lash salon! It’s extremely clean (as are the technicians, who are great about hand-sanitizing), and while the rooms don’t have full walls, it is nice to feel like you have a private space. There are two reasons why I’m only giving 4 stars: 1) There were a couple instances of miscommunication between me and my technician re: the shape I wanted and how many lashes I wanted; 2) They book appointments based on time, not based on completion of the service. For example, if you’re booking a 3-week fill-in appt, you’re booking 1 hour + 20 mins — depending on the status of your missing lashes, they may not be able to fill in every missing lash within this time. This style of appt is very new to me, but it may not bother everyone. However, when I expressed my unhappiness about my first installation, they went above and beyond to get me back ASAP to fix it. “If I weren't moving out of NYC, I'd be a client here forever! I've been to four different lash places in NYC and Winkiss is definitely The. Best. I've been consistently going to Jenny for a year and she is so sweet and always delivers. Other places have rotating lash technicians who get your set done quickly within an hour, but Jenny always takes time to apply the full set and that makes me feel like she really cares about giving you the best lashes. I highly value places and people who make you feel like an individual client rather than just another customer, especially since those experiences aren't easy to come by in NYC. The space is always quiet, relaxing, and comfortable, the lashes always look gorgeous and natural, and scheduling is always accommodating. I will have to look for another lash place after moving but I doubt I'll be able to find anyone as good as Jenny :( If you are considering Winkiss I definitely highly recommend it!“

“I am so happy that I went to Sam for my wedding hair. Sam and his team are consummate professionals who are also very kind. I was super stressed out and started crying in the middle of my appointment (lol planning a wedding is not for the weak!) and they were so supportive. I wanted a loose updo that would stand the test of time and many, many hugs- Sam created a super secure low updo that ?did?not?budge?? but LOOKED loose! It was amazing- My wedding day was 1000°, a 75% dew point, and there was a torrential downpour and my hair looked perfect at the end of the night. Even the face framing loose curl was perfect at midnight ( my hair appt was at 10 am). Sam is devoted to his craft and doesn’t take shortcuts- he even came to my house at 7 pm to make sure the veil was put on properly. Sam, I really can’t thank you enough. “Sapna was the best! I'm from CA and needed a last minute brow appt, I been with the same brow lady for 6 years back home so I was SCARED but my brows look amazing!!!! . I added on a keratin lash lift + tint but the owner saw my lashes and suggested I do a keratin Botox instead.... I am so happy with my results of my eyebrow threading and lash Botox treatment.
