“Overall, I think this is a great lash salon! It’s extremely clean (as are the technicians, who are great about hand-sanitizing), and while the rooms don’t have full walls, it is nice to feel like you have a private space. There are two reasons why I’m only giving 4 stars: 1) There were a couple instances of miscommunication between me and my technician re: the shape I wanted and how many lashes I wanted; 2) They book appointments based on time, not based on completion of the service. For example, if you’re booking a 3-week fill-in appt, you’re booking 1 hour + 20 mins — depending on the status of your missing lashes, they may not be able to fill in every missing lash within this time. This style of appt is very new to me, but it may not bother everyone. However, when I expressed my unhappiness about my first installation, they went above and beyond to get me back ASAP to fix it. “When I first met Claire I had no brows and a large forehead, which made having no brows look even crazier. I found Claire at Laurel on Instagram back in 2019 and obsessed over her content of the most gorgeous and natural and PERFECT brows I'd ever seen. She came at a small price but I knew the work she did was the best I'd find anywhere else. Also, she's warm and lovely and caring and cool and has a soft touch with heavy machinery. Claire gave me my dream brows. Seriously. I used to have to draw on, using multiple pencils and brushes and makeup, with a shaky hand no less, two eyebrows every single morning before I saw anyone besides my husband, and then touch them up a couple of times a day, or I'd feel "less pretty" which is silly, because I'm still awesome. But something like eyebrows that frame your entire face, can make all the difference—especially with your own confidence in your personal/professional life. Today, I wake up and have the most perfect brows already perfectly placed on my face and I no longer even own a brow pencil. Meeting Claire is by far the best thing I've ever manifested when it comes to beauty. She's a true artist, and a loving one at that. The Laurel studio is beautiful and clean and smells like palo santo. If you're really lucky you'll get to meet Louie too, the cutest pooch in the place. Go to Laurel if you want dream brows! She was very attentive and hands on showing as well as explaining and it was very easy to catch on and she provided me a Kit for starting after! “Hi I made the eyelashes with Irina for the second time and I have never been so wildly delighted, they are very easy to wear. we selected the length and thickness of the eyelashes just for me, it’s just a shock, they fall out evenly, there are no holes among the eyelashes and they don’t bother me at all. I took minimal care, used an oil-free makeup remover and removed the water with a napkin. Before that, I had my eyelashes done many times by different specialists, but they wore disgustingly, they bothered me, they were heavy and fell off so much that then I took another month to restore my eyelashes. In the first photo, day 1 and Irina also did my eyebrows, and in the second photo, 1 month later“
