“One of the best decisions my wife and I had made was finding Heritage Homes to build our lake house from foundation up. We had 4-5 finalists from which Frank emerged as an easy choice. What started as strangers now have become family friends at the end of our project. It was easy to get in touch with Nick and get an appointment within a reasonable period of time. He has an eye for both the big picture and small details; some details no one had even noticed! The report and recommendations were solid and straightforward, including estimates. This was very helpful when considering whether to proceed with the house and needed improvements, or keep looking. “I found American home remodeling during the pandemic when we were considering finishing our back yard. They offered a reasonable price for a patio but we weren't ready at the time. Fast forward 2 years and we were finally ready and they came back with a solid estimate but had to raise the price. They were definite not inexpensive but they made up for that with the quality and quickness of the work. I had an entire 1000 sq ft paver patio and fire pit put in with a zipper drain and the pitch of the ground done to eliminate water pooling toward the house. They showed up when they said they would (with a slight reschedule here and there) and they finished the patio within 2 weeks. It's beautiful and very well installed. They also dug a trench on the side of my house where I get water pooling and fixed a crack in my foundation and installed a zipper drain there tying into my downspouts. They also built a fence for me a few weeks later and completed that job in a day. The finishing and professionalism was good. See the pics attached. It cheap but you get what you pay for. A job done quickly andas expected and no games with the pricing or up charging.“

“I hired Melvin to redo a porch along with other structural enhancements to my house. Melvin and his team worked diligently on the job and not only did it look clean but the house is slowly feeling more and more solid. Melvin is my go to for future jobs.“

“John first came to our attention when he helped my parents (seniors) with their house as they prepared to sell it. He was honest, he did what he said he was going to do (incl phone calls & appts) and he charged very reasonable fees. He treated my parents with respect and gave suggestions to make the work more efficient and/or save them cost. My partner and I hired him to replace screen door hinges and install a chain. He assured us we did not need to replace the whole door; this was good news. Next, he looked at the windows (25 years old) that weren't able to open or close properly. He assessed the situation and said the windows were still good & didn't need replacement. Instead, he bought parts for the cranks and the mechanisms that actually open the windows. Parts and labor came to $220 vs what we would have spent had we replaced the whole windows: $1600 (not including labor)!
