I love this place! John and Kay are so nice! Kay does such a great job with pedicures and my nails! I always get gel pedicure and it lasts for 3 weeks. The dream pedicure is sooo relaxing.
I have been a client at Unique Nails for over 20 years. I had tried other salons prior to going there but 20 years says something about a business. I know there are a lot of nail salons out there but it was my experience that staff turnover was high. I don't know at how many you will see the nail tech you really like, who does such a fantastic job on your nails, for a great length of time. John & Kay, the owners, do a fantastic job and are always there. John does my nails and I am always getting compliments on them. I always have nail art on all my fingers and he never disappoints. Since if it was up to me I would probably pick the same color family and request similar designs I make John do the hard work & choose the color & design. He has picked colors I never would have chosen and they worked. His designs can be very simple to wild but I am always happy with his work ( and I LOVE the wild). My pedicure of choice is the Aroma Pedicure with peppermint oil....DEVINE!!! Hot Stone massage and LOVE the peppermint. The attention Kay pays to my legs & toes is wonderful. Professionally manicured toes are one of life's little pleasures. Yes, it is not a fancy salon, but I am happier with my fantastic nails that I get at locally owned business, where I am treated well, never disrespected and don't have to worry that my appointment will be 'lost or cancelled by the system'. Priorities matter.
Hidden gem of a nail salon. As you drive past this dilapidated plaza on rt. 18, it's easy to miss this tiny salon located between a rug and a framing store. Now, if you're looking for a glamorous spa or a nice place to go out for a bridal party mani-pedi - this is NOT it. The salon looks a bit run down and shabby, but the service and prices are absolutely fantastic. Their quality is great - try the hot stone pedicure - who knew a warmed up pebble could be so relaxing? Yet it is like removing all the stress of the past month. (I've had hot stone pedicures and massages in fancy spas before, and this is no worse). Both techs/owners do a wonderful neat and very thorough job. And, at the end of the day, I'd rather have fantastic nails (and neat eyebrows) than pay triple the price for a fancy atmosphere and a mediocre job. Highly recommend this place!
