“We have had a great time at Green Tambourine- my then 5 year old started by attending a weekend open house, followed by a summer camp and now regular violin lessons. Ms Ann is an amazing teacher who not only teaches the kids music, but is also able to fill them with the joy that comes from learning music; the whole environment at GT is just so wonderful. They are very flexible and offer make up classes. Last year, they agreed to summer classes just so that we keep up the skills. We absolutely love Green Tambourine and encourage others to explore!“
“I sent my daughter to summer camp at Mister John's Music for a week and she LOVED it. I was very happy with everything! It's a safe space for the kids to make new friends, play some music, and learn new things. All of the teachers were very friendly and they followed all of the appropriate safety precautions which I appreciate! My daughter had an amazing time and she can't wait to go back!“
“Kennedy is awesome! My son never complains about piano lessons with him, and I often hear them laughing. Kennedy also encourages Ben to be creative, and he makes it a point to work on pieces of music that Ben likes. He's also very flexible with scheduling. New Groove is lucky to have him!“
“Hands down the best luthier shop around. John and Duana are both extremely knowledgable and skilled, providing expert advice and repairs. If something is not 100% to the customer's liking, they will not cease until satisfaction has been reached. They are the most honest and fair people in the business!! You cannot go wrong here, whether searching for a new instrument, having one repaired, or getting a sound adjustment. Great rehairs as well!“
“Chris is the most fun piano teacher! Our daughter (6 years-old) has learned so much from him — all with a big smile on her face. If you are looking for a piano teacher who is not only very talented and well-trained, but also fun — Chris is for you!“

“Rob and his team of instructors are talented and inspiring teachers. All three if my children and my wife have or are taking lessons and each benefited greatly from HSM. I highly recommend HSM. You will be impressed and glad you chose them.“
“They teach kids how to play real music -- drums Guitar bass keyboard in one class lesson the best I ever seen“
“I had a wonderful experience at Fred Oster Fine Violins yesterday. Fred was kind enough to show me about 12 very nice Italian violins. Oster has an excellent collection of fine violins. Fred’s knowledge of these instruments is truly impressive. He made some wonderful suggestions to me. I especially appreciated his direct honesty in regards to the condition and true origin of each violin. We narrowed our search down to a fabulous Mezzadri and beautiful Scarampella violin. I do not live on the east coast but Oster Violins will be a frequent stop for me in the future when I am out this way. Catherine Jacobs was very helpful with arranging all the details of my visit and Samantha was nice enough to play several of the violins from a distance to get a better feel for projection. Highly recommend Fred if you are looking to buy a nice violin. Fred is indeed an expert on Italian violins. Thank you AndrewJust an update: I did choose the Alessandro Mezzadri violin. Love it. Thanks Fred and Catherine for all your help.“
“Both Mr. and Mrs. Kalendar have been amazing teachers to me. Their enthusiasm and constant encouragement have kept me going for more lessons, each of which has given me such valuable information. The two of them have in-depth and complementary knowledge on technique and composition across a myriad of genres. Unlike most musicians I've met in the US, they were not originally from this country, and bring knowledge of musical cultures from across the globe, which they are helping me learn and incorporate into my pieces. While Mr. Kalendar is a renowned jazz musician in Philadelphia, his interests and skills go far beyond that single umbrella-term. They are extremely flexible with their lessons, and dedicate a lot of time to each individual, catering lesson plans based on the individual. Regardless of what level you are at, as a musician, you will never leave their home feeling discontent. It is almost akin to having a 'guru', and I am so glad that I started learning from the two of them.“
“I'm very picky and wanted a particular type of accordion, but I wanted to get my hands on it before purchasing. I flew across the country and arrived on a Tuesday, the first day of the week the shop is open. I should've predicted how busy it would be, but the staff were very patient as I tried about 10 different accordions and found the perfect one for me. I'm very happy with my purchase and with all the help I received from Liberty Bellows. I will definitely go here again for future purchases.“
“I have been working with Eileen for a couple of years now. I have always wanted to learn how to play piano. It's never too late to take lessons. I am the type of person that ask a lot of questions and want to know why. I want to take my time to learn theory as well as how to play. Eileen is very knowledgeable teaching hands playing on as well as theory. At 59 years of age I am still that inquisitive kid! She takes the time to answer all of my questions. She has techniques (or projects) that she can show shortcuts by breaking the music into more manageable parts that will have you playing in no time. I can't stress enough; Practice, Practice, Practice. She accommodates my schedule by providing an 8:00pm to 9:00pm time slot.“
