Chris and his team were invaluable to my wife and I in buying out third home. We have 2 rental properties and purchased this as our new primary home. We recently spoke with Chris at HomeGotOwned regarding a potential refinance. Rates were extremely favorable so it seemed appropriate that we should explore the opportunity. After reviewing our long term plans and current rates with Chris, he advised us not to refinance. There's more to refinancing than simply locking up the lowest monthly payment; Chris put himself in our shoes as a homeowner and looked past the numbers to make sure we had the best plan for our goals, and in his eyes, the best plan was for us to stay the course with our current mortgage. It is incredibly unique and refreshing to work with someone willing to pass on a commission because he/she wanted to do the right thing for the homeowner even if it meant not closing the deal.
