We were so lucky to find this facility; our dog was diagnosed with a meningioma, and every other place we called was offering initial appointments weeks and months out. Because PetCure specializes in one thing, we were able to get an appointment in days. Having called so many places (many which didn't even bother calling back!) I would not recommend anyplace else if your pet has cancer and needs treatment.We had an excellent experience throughout. Our dog came here for a consult and then the CT-scan, and then 3 days of radiation treatment, as well as follow-up visits. The staff and vets here made a stressful experience much more pleasant for both me and my dog. I feel lucky to live near such a state of the art facility. My dog was treated for an MCT in her chest which could not be excised completely by her surgery. Daisy is a high anxiety little dog, but the vets here are experts at dealing with stressed dogs and I have to applaud the anesthesiologist for finding the right mix for her.
I was faced with an extremely difficult decision about one of my cats. Having just finished paying for two separate tumor removal surgeries about six months apart, cancer treatment injections, and a five day urgent care hospital stay at Verg in Brooklyn, I was told by Verg's oncologist that I should bring him to another hospital the oncologist worked at as there was no other facility that would do the radiation he needed to survive. Expected cost to the same oncologist, $9,000-$16,000. I went to Yelp and found that others had a similar financial experience with Verg and with this oncologist.
