Christy returned my call quickly, letting me know to get a referral & current x-rays through my primary doctor first.Dr. Barnes was very thorough & let me know that traditional adjustments could really hurt me. The last chiropractor I tried didn't and tried anyway, hurting me on day one! That scared me away from trying to find someone else for years.Dr. Barnes does have ways to do light adjustments which she uses for me. My primary doctor said she was impressed to hear Dr. Barnes is so mindful of her patients safety and wellbeing, mentioning she'll refer her after hearing that! I have been a patient of Dr. Barnes for years. Her chiropractic care has changed my life. I am an extremely active fitness instructor and maintaining proper alignment has been so helpful in preventing many overuse injuries. Massage therapy is now offered at the office and I recently tried a therapeutic deep tissue massage. It was excellent. The massage therapist consulted with Dr. Barnes prior to my treatment. She was extremely knowledgeable about my sports injuries and was able to relieve some of the extreme muscle tightness and discomfort I was experiencing. I would highly recommend trying a massage at Chester Chiropractic Center!
