Due to the result of remnants of Hurricane Ida on September 1, 2021, our basement was completely flooded and unsafe. Our sump pump malfunctioned early that evening, without our knowledge, as it could not remove the amount of water that accumulated and surrounded our house. To make matter worse, water from a sewage drain located right in front of our home began to quickly back up into our home. The next day, our basement had approximately three feet of water covering the entire basement. Our boiler, water heater, sump pump, and appliances, needed to be replaced. We replaced our sump pump with Roto-Rooter, but we needed an experienced plumber who we could trust, to replace our water heater and boiler. Fortunately, we knew we could call Mike Cizak Plumbing and Heating for these services. Within a day, Mike came by and assessed our Water Heater and Boiler. He determined that due to the water level, both had to be replaced. Within a week, he removed the old Water Heater and installed a new AO Smith 40K BTU Water Heater within one day. Next, he ordered a new Utica Boiler series 3, MGB-120k, within the following week. Mike and his assistant removed the old boiler and installed the new boiler in three days. We are very happy with his work and extremely lucky to have hired him. Mike is a licensed plumber in NJ. If we ever need plumbing services in the future we know who we can depend on.
