“As a private contractor working foreclosures within this region I can’t think of a better tree service. Professional, Meticulous, and attentive on all of my projects is what I have. Jerry the president of Sherwood has been there for all of the work performed on my sites and is ever so diligent in teaching me a little something in the field. Prior to me stumbling across Sherwood I was working with other tree services where sales reps were coming out and promising me the world only to have a fleet of un experienced kids that eventually aggravated my landscaper with excess work that should’ve been cleaned up by the tree service which in turn would offer me a clean up at an additional expense. That or a stump that wasn’t grounded correctly. I would highly recommend Sherwood for these reasons ( along with competitive pricing). Give them a call and prove me wrong I dare ya?“

“We spent a year looking for a professional tree removal company. Too many of the companies had such poor communication that we had to chase them first for response to our inquiry and then again to get our estimate. I kind of gave up during last Winter and resumed again this Fall. In total, we received six quotes from six different companies and are SO THANKFUL we saw Adirondack recommended on our town's local neighbor Facebook page.One of the owners, Bill, responded immediately and came out himself the next day and handed me a written quote. He answered and followed up immediately via phone call and text to a question I had after he left. While many other companies gave me red flags, every flag Adirondack held up was green. He was also the ONLY company to explain that he needed a permit to take down my two dead trees and I provided him the info he needed to send his request off to the town. They also happened to be tied for the lowest quote. The other company with same quote offered no tax for paying cash, but I gladly paid Adirondack the tax because of their excellent communication.They arranged a convenient time for us and our neighbors' schedules, arrived on time, and both owners, brothers Bill and Scott were there. I see how you can keep prices reasonable when you do the work yourself. “We've had several tree services remove and prune trees on our property over the years. Greenwood is the best! Ray provided an estimate a few days after his visit to the house. His estimate came in much lower than the other service we've used in the past. On the job site, Brad and his men worked carefully and professionally. We especially appreciated that Brad was personable and pleasant and that he accommodated our requests and concerns regarding the tree removals and pruning. Cleanup was thorough. Very well done!
