“I was treated with enthusiastic kindness from the moment I walked in to Refresh. Everyone was very friendly and happy to help. Greg met me at the front desk and introduced himself then I was taken to the room and made comfortable.

Greg explained the different types of injections to me, what each one was for and how it was best used. He spent a good half hour making sure I understood every option available and the effects of each. I never felt rushed or pushed into a procedure I wasn’t comfortable with. This was not my first time with injections, but they did not assume anything and gave me lots of different options. I felt in control of my treatment the whole time.

I had a specific concern about some filler that was done poorly by another spa and asked his opinion. He was very honest about options, landing on one that made him no money at all- that I should wait for it to dissolve on its own and not try to fix it in case the “fix” made it worse. He also referred me to a surgeon in case I wanted another opinion. I admired this kind of integrity.

I respect that Greg was willing to treat me fairly and honestly rather than risk making the situation worse to make a buck.

“I’ve been a client here for about 14 years. I’ve had a few masseurs during that time.

Currently, my go-to masseur is Tom. He’s way-beyond excellent. I’ve had many-a-session with him. I get knots in my shoulders, neck, and calves. He gets in there, warms up the area and slowly breaks down the knots. When I’ve tweaked my back or had a dose of sciatica, he’s really helped me to speed the healing process. People who store stress in their muscles and/or experience body pain know that a good masseur/masseuse is no joke.

I’ve also had facials and back facials there too. Sadly, I’ve not been able to keep a consistent esthetician as they tend to have a lot of staff churn, but the treatments I’ve had there have been consistently solid.

Back facials are great because it’s difficult to really do a thorough back exfoliation. You can’t exactly see the pores back there, so having a periodic back facial is beneficial to exfoliate, treat and moisturize the back. I tend to get one twice a year. That said, if you have skin issues on your back, I suggest more frequent treatments. I personally don’t have any skin issues on my back other than seasonal dryness which this treatment helps to alleviate.“
