“I had a great experience. As soon as I came in the door, the receptionist greeted me and knew my name. I sat down for about two minutes and I was immediately brought in for my eye exam. Dr. Sommer gave a complete and thorough eye exam. Yes, the office is a bit dated, but I did not come in to live there. I just wanted my eye exam, which I received, and the whole staff was awesome! Thank you!“

“Bernards Eye Care really saved me when I had pain and severe discomfort in my eye that wasn't getting better. The office manager was so courteous and understanding while I explained the issue on the phone. I had already been very upset and worried, because other places just rushed me off the phone and were not sensitive to my situation. The office manager was so patient and kind, and she was able to get me in, despite the late hour. The other staff member was also very patient and understanding, and I did not feel "rushed," or as if I was inconveniencing them in any way. Dr. Dente was very thorough, knowledgeable, and professional as he examined and assessed the problem with my eye. Everyone there really put me at ease, and I felt so much better by the time the examination was finished. I work in healthcare, so I appreciate and recognize the value of excellent customer service and patience (especially when the person is in pain or severe discomfort, which I definitely was). “Had several appointments over the years here, but made the mistake of leaving to go to The Eye Specialists (see my negative Yelp review), thinking they could serve my potential future needs better. I have since returned to this practice, specifically Dr. Ehrlich. He is professional, caring and makes you feel comfortable. You don't feel like a "number" just going through the motions like at a larger office.“
