I never expected to use Walmart for glasses, but I have to say I want to kick myself for not going sooner. The Walmart Vision Center in Boonton has a wonderful group of knowledgeable and professional people whose main concerns are to make sure that you are completely satisfied with your eye health and your purchase. Walmart is going to be my "go to" place from now on . . . I am not wasting my time anymore with the "highway shops". Dr. Rosenzweig was thorough, offered suggestions on my lenses and you could tell he cares truly about his patients. Thank you Walmart for this great team and department!
I've been purchasing glasses here for a few years now and have nothing but great things to say! Jefferie has helped me each time and has been wonderful! Highly recommend going for great prices and quick turn around time!
I have eye problems and have seen ophthalmologists in NYC and Philadelphia. For years I relied upon their eyeglass prescriptions and I was never satisfied with my vision. I first saw Dr Jose Pierre about 10 years ago because my insurance covered his exam. I can honestly say he's given me the most comprehensive eye exam in this century. He's an optometrist! That's his specialty. He checks for things that ophthalmologists breeze by. He even let me walk around Walmart with that lens apparatus on to make sure the prescription was right. Sure I looked funny but who wants to spend $300-$600 on glasses that aren't right? I've recommended Dr Pierre to anyone who needs glasses. The response is always "the eye doctor at Walmart?" Yes! I still go to my ophthalmologist but for eyeglass prescriptions - I go to Dr Pierre. I don't think you can use the term "bedside manner" anymore but anyone over 40 will understand when I say "Dr Pierre has an excellent bedside manner." If you don't know what that means - check the dictionary - it's a good thing.
