I called John because he is both an electrician and an HVAC repairman, which means that if the problem is with the electric wiring of the house, he was qualified to fix it. His fee for visiting was remarkably modest -- $90. I watched him as he took apart the big metal box outside the house. He was careful and methodical and clearly knew what he was doing. He found several parts that needed replacing, but recommended we get a new unit, as ours is 32 years old. He was courteous and explained things well. “Had a recent excellent experience with Semper Fi. I reached out to them in late August, wanting to schedule some outdoor lighting for September. The owner, Tom, returned my call in a prompt manner and when I told him the basic aspects of what I wanted, he was very candid, told me he and his small team were very booked, and he offered to give the name of another electrician with a larger crew if I wanted the job done more urgently. How ethical is that?! My job was not urgent, and we set a date for three weeks for him to come to my home and look at what I wanted done. He then emailed me a proposal promptly, and we scheduled a date for a few weeks later (October 17). His crew came on time, knew exactly what the job entailed, and got it all done. Everything is as it should be and working fine. I recommend them highly and will certainly call upon them for any future electrical needs.“
