“While their care for my beloved Beagle Lilly of 16 years deserves 5 stars over the years, their "End of Life" Care was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Quoted from their website, "We understand this is not an easy decision to make and our team will never rush any part of this process". My family's experience was quite the opposite. They tried to RUSH the procedure with NO COMPASSION OR EMPATHY. My Dad brought Lilly in while I was at work, and the Doctor barely even looked at her and told my Dad she needed to "be put down INSTANTLY" and when he told her he would not make that decision without ME there, she told him to just "CALL" Me. (How would you feel if you got a phone call like that? My dog was my world. I rescued her when she was 1 years old. We had a deep bond as she was my furbaby.) He said he would not do that to me, nor did Lilly deserve to be put down without her WHOLE FAMILY there. He walked out with Lilly and the doctor called him the "Devil's Advocate" for not listening her to advice. It was sickening to hear this experience. All they want is money so they can go on vacation. We invested so much in this practice financially, and how they treated us with the, "End of Life" Care is HORRENDOUS. Lilly got the respect she deserved and died peacefully in the care of the SPCA Vets WHO WERE COMPASSIONATE AND LET HER FAMILY be there as she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. They were much more patient and compassionate. I will never bring an animal of mine here ever again. Thank you for caring for Lilly for 16 years, but she didn't deserve your negative energy and disrespect. If you want your pet to be treated with dignity, try somewhere else. Namaste.“

“Last Friday, my senior dog had a medical emergency, and Mosaic got us in within 30 minutes—even as new patients. They were kind, compassionate, and didn’t push unnecessary tests for an elderly dog. They even took my calls over the weekend, and their pricing was reasonable—we can still send the kids to college!

We’ll definitely be using them for both of our dogs, and I couldn’t recommend them more!“

“I found Peter Astarbi to be a very nice, competent, and engaging fellow. I did (post visit) have, and still do have, one concern and that is his practice of mixing two different vaccines in the same injection. I learned later that most veterinarians do not like that at all since one vaccine may reduce the effectiveness of the other. So if he comes to your house and your animal needs more than one vaccine, you might want to discuss this with him.“

My animals get a thorough exam and are treated with respect. I say this because the last vet that I used was afraid of my very mild mannered dog and made me muzzle him before she'd approach him, even though he didn't exhibit any aggressive behavior. And she still didn't give him the exam he should have had. When I brought him to Bayshore I mentioned that they could muzzle him if they thought necessary and they said no need. And last vet was afraid of my cat because she was very vocal as she hates the carrier. Bayshore had no fear of giving her a thorough exam and correctly diagnosing her. Needless to say they are my new vet.“

“We have know Dr. Trotter for 30 years. There is no other like him. So very knowledgable compassionate and caring..not just for our pets but caring for people as well. He and his assistant Joanne who we love so much has gotten us through so many good times when we bring in a new little angel and so very many hard times when we have to say goodbye to them. He helps us find the best route to take to help them when they are ill. He's there with us through everything.
