“Our experience at Sit Means Sit was a game changer for us in our ability to walk our pup, Zoe, in a neighborhood that can have a number of distractions as it relates to a dog’s focus. She now is so much easier and fun to walk, and though we were hesitant about collar training it indeed is effective and did not change her personality in any way. It taught her basic commands even used within the house that we will continue to hone with the upcoming group sessions. She was a sweet dog from the moment we adopted her at 12 weeks but needed to learn to behave as she matured to become a well-balanced dog. The trainers are great people and love dogs – Cassidy, Dominic and Josh were so very helpful and patient with Zoe (and us as well – you will also learn how to communicate effectively with your dog so you can gain her full attention so she knows how to behave in any situation from walking to greeting guests etc). It is well worth the time and effort and so nice to hear people say what a sweet and “well trained” pup!“
“My husband and I have brought our two dogs there annually for the past 8 years. Marie and her team have always done a great job. They get their fur cut close and their claws trimmed. The dogs don't generally like strangers, but they have no problem there. When they're done they look great and their paws are all soft like baby-paws. We'll keep coming back. I'm sorry to see mostly poor reviews here; I can't be the only family with a good experience or she wouldn't have been able to keep the business open in tough times for so many years.“
“This place was recommended to me by a friend. My dog was hesitant at first being around other dogs and has slowly adjusted. Recently we took a trip for a few days and had our dog stay here. Of course as a worried mom I called and asked for pics and videos. It was such a relief to hear our dog was adjusting well and enjoying her time there. I am so thankful for everyone who works here and loves on the pets. It is good to know we have a place to board our dog for future vacations.“
“It’s hard to know where to begin.,, Callie ( 1 yr. Old golden) , had been through training previously, then I took her to Paul.) Paul listened to my concerns and what I hoped for in Callie’s training. I have medical issues and Paul was so caring and concerned about that. He was focused on training her so that I could walk her and have no episodes. I knew that he would also work on commands . Truth be told, I never dreamt that my sweet golden would receive such top notch training and Paul would achieve so much with Callie. I just wanted to be able to walk her. lolI went to see her and Paul in training a day prior to picking her up. When they came out of his home I thought , this can’t be my golden. I was so shocked. ( truly)!!!She and I are working on everything Paul taught her; Callie is doing great!!!!! Have to smile that when Callie came home she went right into , “ place”, right after she came out of her crate! She knew the routine and what was expected of her.I cannot say enough about Paul as a trainer and a person. He’s so calm and caring,,,, a dog whisperer describes him. I’ve been blessed, Callie, too!!!!!! ?“
