So air died, unit in attic fried. Called my guy Anthony Miele from Amtek HVAC who has treated me with kid gloves since I moved here in 2014. Always came to my rescue. Now he is an advisor with Coastal AC out of Hazlet. The owner, George, is on his way from there to help me get my new unit tomorrow! Yes, tomorrow. Having MS and rosacea, heat is a killer. My house is usually set at 63 degrees all year, I kid you not. So having my house in the 90s almost caused me heatstroke. Luckily I was away for 1 week and I'm still at my niece's house, thank the Lord! I highly recommend this company. They have techs close by to service your needs. When our central A/C stopped working in the middle of a heat wave I panicked. Who do I call, can I trust them, how much and when can the come. I chose Amtek because the are listed as a Coleman dealer. (the brand I own) I called at 8 in the morning they said they were busy but would shuffle a few things around and would be here in a hour. The tech arrived and very quickly and professionally diagnosed the issue. He contacted Coleman the part was under warranty. I paid the diagnostic time and the labor. They recommend a surge protector to help prevent help prevent a recurrence of the issue. I would recommend these guys.
