Jeff the owner is a poor communicator, difficult to work with, lacks a sense of urgency, and customer service. We needed to part ways and move forward with a new contractor mid way through the project. Jeff doesn't do any of the handy work himself however his team is very friendly and they do quality work. I would not discount that from that which is why I rate Shorebet 2 out of 5 stars. Just be prepared for the professional challenges with ownership.

Jeff Bellet, the owner of Shore Bet construction, brought great stress and distress over a simple reconstruction project of our front porch stairs. The stairs had to be done 3 times. Jeez just admit you made a mistake. No problem . The distress came through Jeff's condescending attitudes and inability to admit his mistakes. Each time he told us we were wrong and each time he found out he was wrong. He had to swallow his pride and fix the stairs. His foreman, Bruce, clarified for us the poor communication and assumptions made by Jeff with him and the actual worker who did the stairs. Shore bet was not a sure bet!
