I've been going to Splitting Hair for a couple of years now. It's easy to make an appointment and a very convenient location. Jody is very friendly and always gives a great color and cut. My hair has never looked this good or been this healthy!! I can't see myself going anywhere else!

I just got my hair cut again this week and I could not be happier! I have no money to spend on hair care products, and I shower at night, so my curly hair tends to go either flat or poofy in the morning. But with this hair cut that I just got from Metta, I wake up in the morning and it still curls just the way I want it to. She is a magician! And I know it will grow out nicely so I don't have to come back after a few weeks. This is a haircut that will last. I have been getting my hair cut at Splitting Hairs for about a year now. I followed my hair stylist, Metta, there. Not only do I love the style Metta gives my hair, I love the atmosphere of Splitting Hairs! It's not intimidating nor trashy. It is the right feeling of comfort and professionalism. But beyond all of that, I alway love the hair cuts I get. I live in New York, and I keep coming back to Metta. I am the kind of girl who wants her hair to look nice but with little to no effort, Metta makes this happen. I have complete trust in her to do what will look good for me (and I mean complete trust. When I take my glasses off, I can't see anything she's doing). And she has done it time and again with different hair styles I'd never try, but have since become standbys.
