My husband and I enjoyed a spa day in the couples suite. After our massages, we enjoyed 15 minutes in a private jacuzzi, champagne and cupcakes. We then, individually, utilized the saunas, steam rooms, whirlpools and pool. We had access to all immunities all day.
I would write a 2 star review but that wouldn't be fair to the stylists. I've gotten great cuts and blow outs at the Borgata spa. They don't have a ton of staff so it's pretty quiet in there. My issue is this: the web/app doesn't allow you to book most hair services. I called 12 days ahead of schedule and while it seemed like they were working me in I was given a 2:45 appointment for a single process color and a blow out. I made it for that time because it wasn't possible for me to be positive I could be on time for anything earlier and we had later plans. Wife had a Mani-Pedi, I had a Pedi and haircut. Both of us were very pleased. Online reservations were easy to make. Reception was quick and seamless. Lisa did my pedi and she was great. We chatted the whole time and my feet felt wonderful afterwards.
Dawn did my wife's mani, then pedi, then cut my hair. Since I had to wait a bit, I sat next to my wife during her pedi and joined in a very lively conversation. The camaraderie with Dawn made the time fly by and we left with hugs like we were old friends.
My wife commented several times during the night that Dawn's haircut was one of the best I've gotten in a long time!
