A superb shop to get yourself back on the social calendar. Highly recommend if your looking for salt of the earth new England folks with a moral bearing and a no nonsense approach to life.

I've been there twice. It's a husband-wife team. They've been there for 25 years. The decor in this shop is well worth the visit. The signage into the building is one-sided political, but doesn't bother me one bit, as long as they know how to cut hair. Both times I got a cut by Gary. He does a very decent, straight-forward haircut at a very fair price. I was in a bind the first time and he fit me right in. And despite the signs, he engages in pleasant conversation and keeps politics out of it. I live in Freedom, NH and I'm willing to drive to Wolfboro for my haircut from now on.

This was hands down the best haircut I have had. Gary’s Barbershop is one of a kind! The service and hospitality blew me away, not something you see often these days. I cannot recommend this establishment enough, I will be coming back and bringing my friends and family!
