“This was my first massage and happy to report that these reviews live up to the 5-star hype. The Swedish massage by Summer was very nice. I liked that she took the time to ask me a few questions beforehand about the more stressful areas (back and arms) as I feel she listened and focused on these areas. The tension in my arms completely went away. The spa (second floor of a salon) was neatly maintained and aesthetically pleasing. There is even a first-timer discount; $45 for 60 minutes and $70 for 90 minutes! Summer even took my appointment when I asked about her availability at the last moment --booked a 10:30am appointment at 10 o'clock! Talk about accommodating and same-day scheduling! When I am back in the area again (likely another weekend getaway), I will be sure to book another massage.“

However, before leaving, we easily made a reservation for the following evening at 6 PM.Best steak in Portsmouth--maybe even all of Southern New Hampshire. The Library is an historic landmark in Portsmouth, NH. It is now a restaurant but it was once a hotel for visiting dignitaries. If I'm not mistaken, Teddy Roosevelt once stayed there. Diners will be treated to an ambiance unlike no other in P-town: dark mahogany walls and shelves, a tin ceiling with individually painted tiles, and yes, books on shelves. The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is the staff. They weren't very...hospitable, however, give them the benefit of the doubt and try this place with your sweetheart.“
