Guru Guy is a truly world-class instructor and it's incredible to have someone like him in Newburyport. Prior to signing up, I had no experience in martial arts, but had a vague idea of what I was looking for. As a fan of MMA, and always enjoying the fighters with a Muay Thai background, I knew that's what I wanted to train. I also knew I didn't want to do "cardio kickboxing". On the flipside, I didn't want to train somewhere that was 100% focused on training active fighters! I wanted to learn *real* muay thai but in a somewhat casual manner. Mr. Guy Chase is dedicated teacher and conservator of different martial arts styles from multiple credible sources. He is great person to learn from, Ask lots of questions, he will put you on the right path and show you the techniques and real skills, if you are dedicated. Highly Recommended! He is highly reputable among martial circles. I have only touched the surface in my personal training journey. I respect the high level of skills here at Guy Chase Academy.
All good arts to learn.....disregard the other comments those type of people dont know about proper self defense and see it as a status not survival....you think an attacker will treat you with respect and tell you sweet nothings......grow up
