Pier, the owner, was great to work with. Friendly, accommodating and professional. I have sealed my own driveway twice prior to this, and consider myself conscientious, even meticulous, but it never came out to my satisfaction. Armor Guard's work looks basically perfect. Professionals with pro tools and pro materials are worth it.
I admit, Pierre is hard to reach. Eventually he returns your calls though. I received a drive-by estimate last year and he told me I didn't need to have my driveway done and to contact him next year. Right!! So I called, and called again, and again but he did finally call me and we set up a time for his crew to seal my driveway. His work is impressive. Seals with a brush where most other companies will spray. Pierre's work is exceptional to say the least and reasonably priced. Trying to reach him is another matter, but constant attempts to do so will end in a great job being done. HIghly recommend Armor-Guard.
After 9 months and $20K later rehabbing my mom's house, the crowning touch was Pier and his team at Amor-Guard sealcoating her driveway. I saw a post on NextDoor about a neighbor getting his done. I reached out and was introduced to Pier. He showed up on time for a quote which was totally reasonable in my mind. Again, he and his team showed for the job right on time and after a long day and commercial gig. They got right to work. I showed Pier a problem where the asphalt edge at the garage concrete was coming apart. I said if it wasn't in the quote, I'd be happy to add it. He said we'll take care of you and drop a line of rubber in like we do for the cracks and solve your problem as part of the quote. Besides being the nicest and hard working people you could meet, Pier uses the brush technique opposed to spray. He explained that spray only applies in a single downward direction. Whereas, brushing allows you create a multi directional bond and thus stronger cure. Also, it allows for much cleaner edges. You'd be a fool to have anyone else other than Pier handle your driveway. My two cents anyhoo.
