“I have been told over and over again to never ever board my pup at a kennel. I was determined to follow this advice. But, due to a last minute cancellation by my son, I was forced to use a kennel. My husband and I decided on Zion Hill because it was small and offered an outside area for our pup. It also has a 5 star rating. When we picked Winston up 10 days after we dropped him off, he was clean, happy and well cared for. I was impressed with their attention to his care. Winston was not eating for them at first, so they took a proactive step and added warm water to his food, this made all the difference. I have started doing this at home and he devours his food every time. My experience with Zion Hill has changed my view. I will use them again without hesitation. I highly recommend them to anyone, especially someone like me who was against ever boarding my pup. They are caring, knowledgeable professionals. I am deeply appreciative to them. I highly recommend them without hesitation.“

“We came to Allison when my dog Shorty was diagnosed with collapsing trachea, and could no longer go to his usual groomer because they are required to use neck restraints. Allison was more than happy to take him as a new client, and was able to groom him with no restraints. She did a wonderful job and we plan on going back when needed. Her grooming place is very warm and welcoming. The dog is able to roam when she is done grooming, rather than getting shoved into a kennel. I think this is great! Especially for nervous dogs. She was also very kind.“

I was a Veterinary technician for 20 yrs and we never refused a pt. Family for such a request when it was absolutely necessary for this to be done so the animal would not suffer. I am now a customer with Cocheco because of their expertise & compassion. They fit us in and even stayed late on a Saturday.
