I brought my 18 year old cat, Malibu, to see Dawn after much research and hesitation on my end. Malibu is not only senior but has had a couple of strokes and other elderly aches and pains and this has made me very hesitant to bring her anywhere for grooming as I worry they may not be gentle enough. Dawn has groomed my family dog for years. our elder dog was a bit grumpy and Dawn had an amazing way to groom. nails and make Zoe' happy and and calm and always be cared for.Zoe loved Dawn and was always happy to see ans sit for her. very professional!we only stopped using dawn when our baby passed.
I can't express enough how wonderful Dawn is. She is so intuitive with animals. My boy Brando is a very sensitive and shy one, despite his large size. I have never seen him so calm and trusting with a groomer, let alone another stranger, as she has the most approachable and warm demeanor to help make your pet feel at ease. She understands cats down to their every behavior, she knows how to approach them, react to them, and to include you, the pet owner, in the grooming process appropriately to help make them feel at ease.
