A 79-year-old couple was in the process of becoming a Dead River customer referred by her son who recently became a Dead River customer. The old company had promised to provide a date for the tank removal a week in advance and a confirmation call the day before the 500-gallon tank was to be removed. Without any prior notice, the tank was removed at 7:30 AM. The couples heat, hot water, stove, dryer, and generator were all on propane. A call was made to Dead River. I spoke with Karen at Dead River today to resolve an accounting issue today. She was patient and extremely helpful, following up with each step in helping me to get an account et up. Thank you Karen!

Update: I was reached out to by the general manager Jessica and we were able to resolve this issue. It came down to my boiler not qualifying for the service plan, which then means I would be charged under a different fee schedule which is normal service hour rates, which was not referenced in the plan information I was given, nor made aware of when a scheduling my service. Going forward linking regular service fee costs with the plan information in addition to making this more clear would be helpful for future customers.
