Brand new generator installed this summer. Runs every Saturday to charge the battery. First power outage (actually there were two one lasty night and another this morning), never turned on. So the Kohler failed the test when we needed it. Called for service, weekend and after hours is now thru Sandford Temper Control, which did not have a tech available (found that out on the third call, the first two calls said someone would call us back). Quality of product is obviously as poor as the after-hours service. Need to wait till a weekday to find out what is going on, even as a value right customer.

Was charged $113 for a consultation/visit to fix a minor leak in shower and to determine what was causing leak at outside water faucet. The shower leak was supposedly fixed but after one day - it is not. And was told to call back in the spring to fix the outside faucet leak. Received communication that we'd need to pay the $113 consultation/visit fee AGAIN for them to come back for the repair we already reported. The plumber was very nice. But this is bad business.

I have used them for over 13 years and the most recent service was the one that did me in. I have had several issued mis diagnosed over the years, this time charging me for a $700 part I didn't need. The call staff has no empathy, I have not found anyone will to take responsibility for me having no heat, and they it will take 2 weeks to get a get the part and get service. the technicians don't know what they are going, just guessing what the issue is instead of taking the furnace apart to properly diagnose the issue. Beware, there are several companies out there that care about you and follow up in a timely manner to resolve your heating issues.
