If you are looking for a traditional martial arts school with real life application, I would seriously consider this dojo. They offer adult and children's classes. It's definitely worth the drive if you are having second thoughts about distance. I have looked at several schools in the area and count myself lucky I found this gem! Meikyo Dojo, LLC offers excellent instruction and great workouts. This is no mcdojo and there are no watered down techniques here. #kyokushin #martialarts #osu

My active son was a bit hesitant to try Karate...this was fall of 2016 and he loves it! Meikyo Dojo has not only helped him grow physically but has helped him gain self-confidence and the love for martial arts. Nick truly puts in the time and effort in teaching his students and for that my son enjoys being part of this Dojo...thank you!

Meikyo Dojo offers classes in Kyokushin Karate, a system of traditional karate originating in Japan. Nick Savery opened Meikyo Dojo in January of 2013 at its current location in Hudson, NH after many years teaching in other locations. Since opening we’ve made it our mission to build a community around our passion for Kyokushin. Meikyo can be translated as “a brightly polished mirror,” or “mirror of the soul.” The essence of karate can be viewed as the continuous polishing of our techniques and ourselves. It is through this persistence to “polish” that we make gradual improvements to body and mind. Dojo translates to training hall, making Meikyo Dojo a place to polish the body and mind.
