Hello, I have been a drywall contractor in the New Hampshire and beyond area for 30 plus years. This has allowed me to interact and work for many builders. I have always held a very high regard for Tarkka Homes. Their attention to detail and patience reaching it is a staple of building for them. Again, I have seen every type of builder you can imagine. I have always said if I were to contract my personal home, be it a new home or custom addition, Tarkka Homes would be at the very top of my list.
I worked in vet med for 13 years and when I left the field, I was admittedly nervous about being on “the other side of the desk”, not seeing behind closed doors, not knowing staff personally. It was scary to be just another pet owner again! Even being a nervous Nelly who “knows too much”, I have never once had cause for concern at ATAH. The team is skilled, honest, friendly, patient, and compassionate. I could not ask for more. And FWIW, I find the pricing totally fair. Anybody complaining about it needs to use their head for a moment and remember that *everything* is more expensive. This is life. Are you also arguing with your mechanic, hair dresser, and the cashiers at Market Basket?
I truly wish every pet owner could spend a day at an animal hospital to see how hard everyone really works to function as an ER, a primary care doc, an OBGYN, a pediatrician, a radiologist, an oncologist, a dentist, an ophthalmologist, an obstetrician, a general surgeon, an endocrinologist, a nephrologist, a cardiologist, a hematologist, a dermatologist, a urologist, a pharmacist, a behavior specialist, a hospice care specialist, an infectious disease specialist, an internal medicine specialist, and every other -ologist and specialist you can imagine, and for multiple species — and let’s not forget the nurses! As an old boss used to say, “what you guys do is nursing, techs change your oil.” It’s freaking *miraculous* what they manage to pull off and should be met with nothing but gratitude and respect.
Nick was very nice to work with. He is efficient and professional. He is very neat and cleans up before he leaves. I would have him do work for us in the future.
On purchasing our new-to-us 120 year old home, it became immediately clear that the heating system was not only breaking, but also not sufficient to actually heat the building and grossly inefficient to the point that it would bankrupt us if we kept things as they were.
Working with Kyle and Pete, we figured out a conversion plan to Gas with Mini Splits for each apartment unit. They were creative, respectful, professional and hard working to solve our problem and get everything installed.

Hands down, exceptional! We were solicited by solar vendors for years and ended up getting burned. We found Big Sky through a friend, and we wish we found them sooner! They handled everything, and I mean everything! My friend used another company to install solar, at the same time, and she wished she used Big Sky. She had to get her own electrician, deal with the town, and set up her own solar credits afterward. Big Sky did it all for us, including getting financing in order, and the price was the best around. They completed the project within the estimated time, and we had a large job! Brian is Super personable and attentive. Super Happy!

I have an old house and was concerned about some wear and tear on a brick interior supporting wall. Jerimiah was able to tell me what was causing it and explained a simple way that I could address it myself. In the process, I learned a lot about the construction of the basement overall. Even though this issue didn’t require any major repair, I will definitely call Jerimiah if I ever need any stonework done in the future.
