I want to give a big shout out to Jason the tech that came out to our place to go over lock options for our sliding door. Although there was not a reliable electronic option for sliding doors that he could recommend, he was very knowledgeable about our lock and sliding door. He did offer some external locking options (and ones we should stay away from) that we could look into since this place will be used as a rental as a way to hand off keys without being present at the unit. He did a fantastic job of replacing the lock core since ours was a little corroded from the exposure to the ocean air, made extra keys all while explaining the process to me if I ever needed... read full review
