“Jim just completed an amazing restoration in our log cabin. After 50 years, we knew we had some wall damage and some critters and Jim faced our challenges head on. He devised a plan to preserve as much of the original pine walls as possible and integrated the new pieces beautifully. He identified the root of the problem - leaks at the chimney - and he had it sealed and patched fast. We then made a surprise discovery - our old log beam mantle had rotted through. We had no idea how we would find a piece of wood that would match the cabin and Jim worked magic. In two hours he found a gorgeous salvage mantle replacement - amazing.
