I called as a new customer to keep the propane the previous homeowner had with Eastern and to add on oil. I have a 1,000 gallon tank that was near empty and needed a full fill. They set the account up and said someone would be out to inspect the oil tank before it could get filled. They said it would happen in a week.

Two weeks later I called to see why the tank was not filled and that’s when I was FINALLY TOLD that the tank enclosure did not allow inspection. Customer service is outstanding! We had an issue starting our propane heater at our seasonal campsite and they went above and beyond! From the people who answered the phones to the tech who came out immediately. I wish I got their names. They were all exceptional and I am happy to be a customer! Thanks to all.

customer service quality,I have been their customer since 2001, didnt purchase karosene last, due to many different factors, one of them being financial crisis, we ended up burning a lot of pine wood over the winter in our wood stove, it was either that and food on the table, or karoseme amd not enough to pay for the food....., so my account has been deactivated. Upon calling the customer service, they have refused to mark my account as active, reinstate it and schedule fuel delivery, saying that they don accept NEW customers !!!! I have been their customer for 21 YEARS!!!local office rep, Josh, was suppose to call my cell to talk about it, in sted he chose to dial the number and hang up, so that way it ahows in their data as a returned call has been made, neither the phone rang, nor a message has been left for me.... very "good and responsive" customer service... very classy Josh, very classy, definitely worth a promotion, according to the analitycal data that your dial and hang up technique produces....I have called the manager in the Rochester's corporate office, Bill Massey, apparently it was too late in the day to talk, it was 3.30 pm on friday....so I. got transfered directly to his voice mail, waiting for a call back, with hopes that i will talk to someone, to whom common sense is no stranger...not the case....How do you justify your refusal to reactivate the account and to deliver fuel to your long time -21 years - customer, who is a single parent living with 2 kids?i uderstand that people move, so their accounts would be deactivated to reduce the clutter... not the case here, havent moved or switched the vendor, just was not able to affer to buy more karosene last heating season.....
