He has been open changes along the way and everyone on his crew has been overly respectful of our property every step of the way. We will certainly be enjoying the new space in our home for many years, knowing the craftsmanship, attention to detail and Doug's overall peaceful demeanor are within these walls will long be a comfort.“

“Mike and the team at 603 were wonderful to work with. Our home was struck by lightning and they helped us install our new water heater. They were very responsive and communicated in a variety of ways. There were a few hiccups out of 603's control and they went above and beyond to make sure our water heater was installed with the highest of quality! We were appreciative of the extra communication they provided with our insurance company. They sent documents and helped clarify questions that were needed for the appraisal. “We interviewed several contractors when we needed a new deck and we were extremely picky and nervous because we had just had a horrible experience with a siding crew who botched the job so badly that our kids probably could have done better. “I hired Kevin to build an attached two bay garage with room above for future apartment and mud room. Kevin was handed nothing more than rough layman sketches and a photo of a similar setup. He had to figure out the heights, transitions, stairs, and blend to the existing house. He always showed up on time and exceeded expectations in his delivery. He was a very good communicator throughout the project. The final product is outstanding and looks like it was always there. We get so many compliments. “Discovery of a rotted piece of framing and a poorly constructed covered deck addition led to having to undertake a large construction project over the summer. I had the pleasure of working with Tim, James and their crew to get this project done.

It was a very complex job that involved a complete demo of a deck and siding elevation while maintaining the roof system. Zak Co. went above and beyond what I thought was going to be possible, despite multiple challenges and change orders during the scope of work. They worked very flexibly around my schedule, as well as helping with a Pella-induced mishap (all the doors and windows were delivered as a wrong size.) They also helped with my intentions of oversizing the framing to make a deck that would last longer than I would.

The pricing was very fair and for the quality of work we received and the attention to detail, I am extremely satisfied. I cannot recommend working with these folks for your next construction project enough.“
