Discovery of a rotted piece of framing and a poorly constructed covered deck addition led to having to undertake a large construction project over the summer. I had the pleasure of working with Tim, James and their crew to get this project done.
It was a very complex job that involved a complete demo of a deck and siding elevation while maintaining the roof system. Zak Co. went above and beyond what I thought was going to be possible, despite multiple challenges and change orders during the scope of work. They worked very flexibly around my schedule, as well as helping with a Pella-induced mishap (all the doors and windows were delivered as a wrong size.) They also helped with my intentions of oversizing the framing to make a deck that would last longer than I would.
The pricing was very fair and for the quality of work we received and the attention to detail, I am extremely satisfied. I cannot recommend working with these folks for your next construction project enough.
Great job by Howie, his dad and their crew. They were on time and executed the seal coating job for our entire subdivision per their commitment. We would be bringing them back for future business. I have no reservations in recommending them for any paving or seal coating projects. Keep it up!
It was a pleasure doing business with Matt Brock (Brock’s Handyman Services). His recommendations for the work to be done rebuilding home entry stairs and decking and putting up a new gutter system were excellent and the workmanship superb. We also needed a repair on our roof trim which required some scary ladder work which he didn’t hesitate to take on. He also fixed an outside faucet that wouldn’t shut off. He always did what he said he would do, on time, efficiently and professionally. We couldn’t be happier with the work that Matt did for us.
