“We knew we needed a new roof. It just so happened our neighbors replaced theirs this past summer, using Mr B’S. We contacted them and by the end of that week we received our quote and any paperwork that came with it. Had the contract signed the following Tuesday. Supplies came quickly, and the following Monday the roof was completed. The crew worked extremely hard, from the roof stripping, to adding the new roof, to cleanup. The cleanup guy came after and cleaned again with his blower and magnet. He did spot two porch post caps that had been broken during installation, and did say they would be replaced. I am waiting on those. The only thing I was hoping for, was to have the owner reach out in someway, just to see if we were satisfied with the new roof. At the same time I am sure he is extremely busy with other jobs, but as a customer I do like the personal interaction with the owner if possible. But I would definitely recommend Mr B’s to anyone in need of a new roof.“

“I first got a quote from Vaillancourt Roofing for about $34,500 when my sister told me that we should look at Queen City Roofing. As I researched them, their reputation was stellar. We went with them, and the final cost was $19,500. Both quotes had a 50-year warranty, and the only differences were that Vaillancourt put a 4’ higher layer of the neoprene (I think) barrier, and they used Owens Corning shingles. Even though I do not know the names of name-brand shingles, I am 100% sure that Queen City Roofing also used an excellent brand, if for no other reason than they do not want to come back to do repairs. Anyway, those two little differences were not worth $15,000!! I also recommend using their recommended finance company as they were much easier to get what amounts to a high-dollar personal loan, than through my bank, for only 1% higher interest rate. Anyway, when they finally did the job, I was worried about how many nails would be left on the ground. Well, they did an incredible cleanup job. Based on the quotes I mentioned, you can imagine we have a very large roof, and so far, I have found 6 nails. They had 12 guys working that day, and did the whole roof in one day. They started at 7 a.m., and were done by 4:30! I cannot recommend them enough.“

“We hired this company to paint and make necessary repairs to the siding of our home . The craftsmanship of the carpenters was outstanding. Once the repairs were made the painting of the house started but with so much rain in our area it took longer than expected. The color match was pretty closed . There was a small damage to a shingle area when the carpenters were trying to determined which side boards needed to be replaced . When the job was completed they promised to come back to replaced the broken shingle and to color match as closed as possible. They did as promised . “If the problem isn't obvious, analyzing a roof leak issue requires methodical patience, years roofing experience, and a genuine desire to solve the customer's problem. Some people are willing to throw money at a vexing issue. You may well know from experience that this generally leads to expensive frustration. If you do, then you understand that your money is well spent hiring a competent professional. Mike from Skyline solved my roof leak (rubber membrane roof located under roof deck hot tub). He carefully inspected all possible causes, tested for integrity to determine with certitude, then explained and offered a DIY fix. In the end the 10 year old roof system previously installed by Skyline continued to function perfectly. It was the sliding glass door that was leaking. (Mike laughed when he explained how much water can drain through a 1/16 inch diameter hole). I highly recommend Skyline.
