“I lost my baby kitty a month ago. Milford veterinary hospital took him in on emergency care basis even though they were booked up. I am 68 years old and can't walk very well and don't have a car so my friend took him in. The doctor took him right away and did everything to save him but Simon was too sick to save. The doctor called me and asked if he could be euthanized and I said yes. The staff and doctors did everything they could and was with him when he passed. I was devastated when I couldn't be there to hold him when he passed that I cried for weeks. Regarding the vet fee they said not to worry that it would be taken care of. I wanted to send them a thank you card but I was with my husband in the hospital. This is my way to say thank for your compassion and caring. It is easy to see you care deeply about the animals. If I am ever lucky enough to get another kitty I will always come back to you. Bless You All, Karen Morrison“

I have used this emergency that on several occasions and without fail they are caring, compassionate and well-trained along with just being great humans to all other humans and animals. “When we had our Male Cat (Tuxedo) this practice was Very professional. Of course the cat didn’t like coming here because he knew he may be getting a shot. But the people at the practice were gentle and that eased the tension Tuxedo may have felt. Once he was out of the cat carrier and on the scale he would bury his head close to my wife as if to hide. He never bit anyone (except me trying to put him in the carrier before we left for the appointment). Well, I’ll admit, I didn’t brush him enough. He was a big cat! I’ve always had big Male cats. He had Alot of fur. He did die eventually because we had him for quite awhile. We were sad but now that my children and grandchildren are all grown up; no more cats, please. Bottom Line: BVMC IS THE PLACE TO GO! I’ve seen alot of Dogs there for their appointments over the years! Great place!“
