We had the pleasure of meeting Alan, Tammy, Katie and their crew when our motorcoach developed alternator issues on our annual camping trip to North Conway, New Hampshire Alan was not only kind enough to come to our campground to take a look and see how he could access the alternator in our motorcoach, but he also offered us his pick up truck to use during our vacation time while working on the Motorcoach. As we tow our own car, we didn’t take him up on his generous offer. They not only did an excellent job repairing our coach in the timeframe they told us they could, but their prices are very reasonable and very affordable and all around the entire shop was very kind and we were very well received. It felt like we had family at the Albany service center. Fast forward one year after our first repair and servicing of our engine oil and generator oil The coach had developed an exhaust pipe problem. When they brought this to our attention, he told us the way the exhaust was leaking & shooting out through a hole in the exhaust piping onto the engine was very dangerous. When his very excellent and very competent secretary, Tammy, looked up to get the parts sent in. It was back ordered from Freightliner by 46 days! Oh boy, we said, we can’t be here for that long camping! With the help of her vendor they searched and searched the entire country and came up with the parts all the way in Michigan! They got the parts sent to their shop in a reasonable amount of time and put together an excellent exhaust repair for our 40’ Winnebago TOUR Motorcoach! The welding from the top-notch mechanic was excellent. Both Tammy and her right hand girl Katie kept us so well informed as to what was going on during the time of our repair that we could never thank them enough On top of that our pup, Zachary, was welcoming in their shop at all times and they were spoiling him with treats every time we went there It was to the point where Zac really looked forward to seeing the girls each time we went there! Being a Mason contractor I’ve had lots and lots of repairs done on the trucks we run and cars also This shop, with their excellent high qualified mechanics, the owner Allen’s knowledge and their kindness, they’re going out of the way to make us feel comfortable as if we had family working on our rig. Has been one of the nicest experiences I’ve ever had dealing with repair shops I highly recommend them for repairs on not only big rigs and trucks, but cars and equipment as well. Alan has so much experience and is so well qualified to handle any of these tasks that you know you’re in good hands with him. We can’t say enough good things about Albany Service Center! As we were traveling out of North Conway our F350 diesel truck threw a code warning us that it was going to go into limp mode in 50 miles due to a problem with our DEF. It was Sunday and luckily we were able to make it back to the campground we had just left to safely spend the night. Monday morning, after calling several local garages and Ford dealerships who couldn’t see us for 2-3 weeks, we called Albany Service Center and they got us in that afternoon! They even provided us with a loaner car to use. Shout out to Tammy, Ed, and Alan who kept us informed and worked on the truck until the problem was fixed! The staff are super nice and very accommodating. Thank you for everything! Mike and Sheila
