He earned his undergraduate and graduate degree in Business from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, and his medical degree from Hahnemann School of Medicine, Drexel University. Dr. Kuwahara completed his residency in Dermatology at the University of Tennessee in Memphis TN, where he also served as chief resident. After residency, he taught Dermatology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences prior to private practice.
