I am in my 20s and recently received an endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery with Dr. Ichtertz here. The change in my quality of life before and after this surgery was amazing! It’s only been 2 months since I had my surgery, and I went from not being able to lift things as heavy as my phone to being able to lift everything without pain! Plus, the scar is small and should become almost unnoticeable within the year.Overall, this was the first surgery I’ve ever received and I was very nervous going into it. I highly recommend Dr Ichtertz. I had trigger finger severely that i couldn't even make a fist. My hand was going numb and I literally had to straighten my finger out with my other hand if I did get my finger bent. Dr Ichtertz quickly diagnosed me and the procedure took less than 10 minutes. My appointment only took one hour. I was back to work right after the appointment and had full range of motion right after. Don’t wait to go see Dr. ichtertz. You won’t regret it.
The Grand Island office is the best! I went in with the grip strength of an 80 year old woman and now I'm in the top 5% for strength. I'm a violin player and really enjoy playing in the symphony. I was so nervous to have it done hoping it wouldn't ruin my playing ability. It not only made it easier to play, but now I can play better since I'm not dropping my bow. It helped me in more ways then one to go through the Nebraska Hand and Shoulder Institute and Dr. Ichterz! Highly recommend!!
