DGP wasn’t my first choice for a training program but I’m SO glad the other place never responded. I signed up my pup (Rey) for the 3 courses offered. At first she was very fearful (low confidence) and didn’t want to leave her bed in class. Our instructor, Lydia, gave my pup an area to feel safe while participating in class. Lydia had so much patience and knowledge in helping Rey come out of her shell. She encouraged setting up puppy play dates. By the end of the program Rey felt confident enough to run around the classroom and Lydia was one of her favorite people in the room. We went through Puppy Kindergarten, Elementary, and High School with dog gone problems. Our instructor was great at providing the information for all the lessons, and extra tips for issues we were struggling with with our puppy. The socialization in class and with other puppy parents for play dates was crucial in my dog becoming confident and comfortable in any situation.
