“I have had a few tattoos from Matt D at Black Squirrel in Council Bluffs, he is very professional and is an extremely talented artist. My wife and daughter also have artwork from Matt and they love his work. We all highly recommend him if you are looking for the best artist in the area.

Requested style: I wanted Nordic style tattoos, some were newer more realistic looking and recently got an old rune style. Matt researched and came up with the perfect designs for me. He does such a great job.

We were able to get appointments without much wait time, and she listens to you so you will both be on the sams page and pleased with the end result. Right away, I was impressed with Black Squirrel. The shop is decorated SO well, it's a blend of vintage and steampunk, and they had some awesome old-school music playing. I immediately felt a good vibe.

Shari's booth was very cozy, very aesthetically pleasing, and she played episodes of The Office, which I really enjoyed and helped pass the time. It was a nice touch that she offered me Derma Shield for quicker healing. Shari absolutely exceeded my expectations! I booked my second appointment immediately after the first.

Jesse is very knowledgeable about what works and doesn't work. Very focused on infection prevention, which as a nurse I highly appreciate.
I am very prone to getting keloids and I was worried about getting tattooed. My tattoos have been healing beautifully with no sign of scar tissue. Jesse is the only one I would ever trust to tattoo me.“
